Backstory:
With some friends, they are inseparable. They will do anything and everything together, and woe betide anyone that tries to separate them. That is exactly what Kayla, Jenna, and Brianna were like before their lives changed. When the door to the bunker Kayla lived in was opened, its inhabitants were shocked to discover a small settlement of pure humans from another bunker that had settled on top of them by chance after fleeing their own. The two groups got along fairly well though some stratification did occur, with those of the intact bunker on top. When Kayla was born, it was something of a miracle as her mother and father had been trying to concieve for considerable time. While her parents were happy with a single child, she wanted to have siblings to play with. With that being unlikely, they were fortunate that Kayla became quick friends with Jenna and Brianna, who grew up in the poorer edges of the combined settlements. There was hardly a day that passed that the three weren’t in each others company. Jenna was the carefree one, who frequently got the trio into trouble. Brianna followed where Jenna led, deliberately finding ways to make things “more interesting”. That left Kayla to be the reasonable one, who had to get them out of trouble. Regardless of the situation however, they were so close that they were practically joined at the hip. Sadly, this became a literal reality for them one fateful day when they decided to go outside the protective wall just before a Chaos Storm touched down. With only seconds to spare, the three were forced to huddle in a small nook of the wall, arms wrapped around each other. It was some time after the storm passed that the trio woke up to their new lives of being inseparable. While Jenna and Brianna took it well, or as well as anyone can after such an upheaval of life, Kayla did not. It took the combined effort of Brianna and Jenna over many hours to calm their friend, and convince her that they could not go back, due to the settlement's attitude towards chimeras. Unable to ever return to their families, the three friends were forced to flee their home. They now wander between oases of the Iridescent Desert selling their silk and clothes spun from it.
Yet another gal from the fantastically freaky world that exists in my head. This is also the second Chimera style character, the first being Sally. I'm oh so happy with how well the artist captured the character, though some of her abilities and anatomy could/would not be drawn (for various reasons). Any-who what really matters is that the character as a whole (the most important aspects) were put to paper...er pixel. Feel free to ask questions.

Pretty much, though most of the time they are all in simultaneous control. Chaos naturally ensues when they don't agree.
As for chimeras, its a term within the world that refers to anyone who is extensively altered without theme or pattern. There are plenty of them, many are part of a cult. I'm probably going to do a journal post contain a glossary or something.
