It's been an immensely long time since I submitted any writing. Regardless of how long it's been though, I'm happy with how this turned out. Simple format, simple classic theme, but with that little spin on perspective that I enjoy so much when it comes to choosing the topic. =)

True, the sonnet is a format primarily used with subjects of love, even if this particular protagonist wishes to continue living the bachelor life. =D
