the best advice i can give you is get yourself a nice sized sketch book you can carry around easily and every time you draw your character or anything in it take note of what parts look good and what parts do not.
take a short time and do a quick study of the things you think could use some work... for me i used to have trouble with: muzzle construction, hands/paws, feet/paws, getting the back to line up properly with the character's frame, and getting the eyes to look right... and dont get me started on how annoying wings can be >>
just take it one step at a time and keep improving... oh and just draw, draw, draw ^_^

Yeah I just got a pretty decent size sketchbook recently (late birthday gift). I despise drawing in public, so having something like a small sketchbook to draw on in privacy really helps. Yeah I can use tons of work on pretty much everything. But like they say, practice makes perfect, so its time to fatten up this sketchbook. I should take notes on what I like and dislike about my pics, thanks for the advice
