Abrielle is based loosely on my childhood. I grew up with an abusive mother and consequently lost a lot of my affective empathy, trust, and social skills. But over the years I've gotten better, and I have many wonderful friends and loved ones.

Abrielle's story is that she is half-demon, with a full demon mother and a human father. When she was little, her mother ate her soul and left her unable to feel and relate to other people. Slowly over the years, she learns how to love again and builds her own new soul, represented by the pretty pink heart.

Someday I'd love to make a comic or cartoon based on her.
