This cute little girl was one of the last litter we fostered for the Humane Society. We do this simply because it is a way to pay some love forward. One day soon she will make someone very happy. It is also a way for us to help save a life that might otherwise have simply faded away.
If you can - volunteer of yourself. There are a lot of dogs waiting for homes who would be very happy just for a simple pat on the head.

Kind of a small house, what with two people and a couple dogs already. We've had as many as four Australian Cattle Dogs here, but it's been a long time and my brother and I can't keep up with the wild beasts any more.
That said, we've had exactly one 'pet shop' dog in the past forty years. The other ten or twelve (do I count the two Mom dognapped?) have all been rescues.
