A lot of artists use others art as inspiration. There's nothing wrong with referencing another artist's art for antomy or a style you want, we all did that at one point. That's how you develop your own style. As long as you don't copy exactly or steal a character and modify it (like color change, etc.) and call it your own.
it's very nice...I agree with
DonCass, reference and influences are quite important to grow as an artist...it's like asking someone to draw a steam locomotive engine without being able to study what one actually looks like! everything can't be from memory alone...and being inspired by other artists is normal as long as it goes towards developing your own style in the long run..look at my character Momes...her eyes are inspired by the eyes in the comic strip "Bloom County" and Aorta is 50% Al Hirshifeld drawing/50% Ms. Pac-Man..we all "draw" from our own likes in art and culture to make our own collage/contribution to the mix.

It's simple, but simple is good on a lot of the pages here. It shows you can convey fat without making it look like a third grader drew it. It's chubby and pudgy, thick arms, big belly, fat tail, big cheeks, snout, legs... you have cel-shaded look to it, so it looks like a simple cartoon figure from the early 60s, but just dimension shade it, maybe texture up some parts and I think it's way beyond scraps, even as-is, but it is your call first and foremost.
