This first started as a doodle from a thought in my head that ive had all week. Lately, as soon as i get home im ready to just slip into bed and just pass out, and thus i havent had any time to work on my artsies. So i started drawing this picture to show that feeling.

Sadly, the linework, let alone the rest of the picture, took way longer than i originally thought it would, or originally started out. Usually im able to get the linework down pretty quickly, but this time i had a specific image i was going for and wouldnt stop untill i got at least close. Originally, the picture was supposed to show my bed, laptop, and an entire background, but by the time i got to the end i was beat and i couldnt stand to work on it anymore. Not to mention the perspective looked a bit weird and i felt it not worth continueing.

So i quickly through it into photoshop, and since most of my day was already gone, i decided to waste the remainder of it but showing the coloring on ustream. Heck, getting UStream started took some time, but im glad that the actuall coloring didnt take long.

Everything came out pretty good except the wings. Its funny just how much of an easier time i have with wings with markers than i do with my computer. I still cant seem to get it right. Just gotta keep practicing. One thing is for sure, i cant use the same cheap method i do with fur for trying to do feathers... it just doesnt look right.

Oh and the little lizard is my pet blue tongue skink Cid. Hes the cutest little guy ever.
