Starting off with the first Ych of the "pilgrimage" series. An attempt at I guess a short story Ych. Simple in concept but I think its very interesting to give people a chance to put their character in a story that isnt just about banging something(Not that theirs anything wrong with that). I'm not much of a writer so you'll have to forgive me if something is oddly written! But at any rate lets get on with the characters!

 henkou

From a long line of knights "Henkou" is not just a name, but a well known title throughout the Kingdom of Vuilecia. Henkou had been preparing for five days and five nights contemplating on whether to join the fight to try and push back fate for even just a century longer, to try and protect the land He and his fellow comrades knew and loved. In the end, he chose to join the vanguard for the future survivors that could make there way out of the castle walls in time. To help fend off against whatever danger lies ahead for the pilgrims that survive the initial attack. Henkou moved into the entrance leading to a long since abandoned temple located deep within the mountain. Leaving behind most of his friends and what would soon surely be nothing but rubble and blood.

 Nawth &  Navir

Known as some of the more cunning merchants of the land. Nawth and Navir were partners in trade, Some suspected they were more then just business partners but no one has ever found any proof asides from baseless rumor. like many of the merchants and rich, they were unsuspecting of the Doom that would fell the kingdom this day. Even the most wealthiest of merchants did not hear news of the impending doom. Thankfully Navir and Nawth were able to escape easily on the grounds of already being on the bridge exiting the walled kingdom at the time. Seeing a large crowd of screaming citizens barreling down the main bridge. They hastily decided that it would be best to get away from the kingdom. But after being one of the first to reach the entrance to the mountain. They looked down upon the kingdom they once called home. Their friends, family, wealth and anything they found precious completely vanished in a torrent of flames and stone. Crushed under the swords and legs of what looked to be hulking humanoid statues from afar. Unable to comprehend the view that lay before them, They embrace each other with tears in their eyes.

Archseer to the kingdom of Vuilecia, Timothy had always known that time was limited for this kingdom, long before anyone else. Soldiers from the opposite side of the world, Giants from the land of Breg Ocrifice. Were making preparations for a crusade against a race of what they considered to be idolatrous heathens. Despite the king believing in his trusted Archseer's words. much his the kings court did not believe that giants could ever exist, no less be living on the opposite side of the world. how could they understand a danger from a world they had already assumed was completely explored. However the King would refuse to inform the common public of this crisis. He decided that telling the tale of an impending doom would be too much for his citizens. He opted instead, 5 days before the crisis a secret list of preparations be made. Gather willing knights to the vanguard and food prepared at the entrance to the mountain. The Archseer warned that many would die, That his actions to not inform his public would destroy more than it would save. But the king nodded in disagreeance once again. As timothy walked past a crying couple on the mountain cliffside he stared back at the destruction currently happening to the kingdom. He did not have much in the way of friends. The rest of his family hung from witchhunts of the past. Keeping calm, he gave his last prayers to those still within the confines of the kingdom and moved into mountain. preparing himself for what dangers lie inside.

AAWWUGH Im sure there are billions of mistakes in there im sure! But even so, I hope you enjoyed the tidbit of story I was trying to convey! I look forward to the rest of the parts!
