Found this in a house i moved into long ago. so long now it is kinda strange to think of it. Anyway this was the cracker jack surprise in the closet. and it is the gem of my collection of animal skulls. and no i did not kill anything to get my skulls. i lived in the country most of my life and things die everywhere. come to think of it only one of my skulls was from roadkill. and that's one of my Opossum skulls (which i will photograph later) the deer skull was from the woods as were a few others. the cat skulls were under a trailer. and the robin skull if i can find it was from under a tree in my old back yard. the turtle skull i have was from a turtle i got that died really shortly after getting it. sometimes the earth does not keep things.
Anyway enough of the weird and morbid this is ANATOMY! well sort of. i used to be able to name most of the bones and such but now not so much. however i figured with the collected views of the skull it may be of use to some for drawing. perhaps as something to model a more evolved animal head on since this does have a good sized brain cavity without the forehead issues of people skulls.
