The mask attaches to the vest via snaps, but can be worn on its own as well (there’s a hook-and-loop clasp at the front to close the neck) either as a mask or headdress. The inside is lined with cotton (glow-in-the-dark star-field pattern) and has an elastic across the back for a more comfortable fit. Vision is through the Eye Sockets and Antorbital Fenestra (the big holes). The Infratemporal (back holes) and Nasal Fenestra are covered inside with black fleece to provide depth, but avoid too much light shining through and ruining the skull-magic. The mask is spot-wash only.

The vest is made from sweatshirt material and has embroidered ribs and spine details. The faux fur embellishments around the arms are lined with sweatshirt material, to reduce matting and tickling. The pockets are lined with minky (rather than long-pile faux fur), for cozy-ness without the ‘exploding pocket’ look. The vest itself looks great worn on its own, and with the mask. The mask is machine washable in cold water, but should be hung to dry, and the faux fur brushed.
