nihilist78 has been encouraging me to write some captions for some of my classic pictures. Unfortunately, once I get started, my captions start growing into mini short stories. This pic is one of his (and my) favorites. He's going to post it onto his tumblr page dedicated to TF art, which you can check out for yourself at macguffin78.tumblr.comUPDATE: QUICKIE CONTEST!
I just removed one word from the text; first person to discover it (which won't be easy, it's not there anymore) gets a free Comus quickie TF sketch!
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: CONTEST CANCELLED
When I announced the contest, I assumed (and we all know "assume" makes an ass of u and me...) the winner would have downloaded the picture when I first posted it, then do a side-by-side comparison with the current version. If they had they would have discovered the paragraph under the picture originally began with "somewhere." After posting the picture I realized the word was unessa - "nearby" alone covers the vagueness of where the sound was coming from.
mightysquid and
tigreblanco made valiant efforts to guess where and what the word might have been, and for that I salute them; they both deserve and have won those quickie sketches - congrats guys!

Thanx much!
After re-reading it myself, I realized this is probably the first time I've written a TF entirely from the changeling's point of view, focusing exclusively on his subjective experience, and only implying what was happening to him physically. I usually write in the 3rd person, counterpointing the person's mental state with descriptions of his TF, so this was a fun change of pace.

congrats - you and
tigreblanco have won quickie TF sketches. What would you like to see? (Keep it simple though, I'm a busy reptile.)

Like I said to
mightysquid above, congrats - you've won yourself a quickie TF sketch. What would you like to see? (Keep it simple though, I'm a busy reptile.)

It depends on their individual temperment - some may relish it, others have to resign themselves to living a mephitic lifestyle; I don't think his scent has anything to do with it.
On the other hand his scent may "tweak their minds" to make them more receptive to the idea of an intimate relationship with a seductive, charmingly debonair skunk...
