so I was looking at my old artwork the other day and looked at my very first submission and thought it might be cool to redo it four years later!
I thought now was a good time to do it because for some reason something seems to have clicked with me recently and I think I've made a little bit of a jump artistically. I wanted to make it as similar to the original drawing as possible so I could get a pretty literal indication of where I've improved.
I can see big improvements obviously but definitely still not 100% happy with this ~__~ maybe I'll draw it again in another 4 years!

your style's gotten even more on-point than it was, friend! lots of improvement on anatomy and expression, and especially your shading/lighting :O I didn't notice how much until I put them side by side for contrast.
