I think the green and yellow are what throws it off a bit.

Black, blue, and red are super common colors used in Native American art though, so they look good on this piece :)

Thank you for commenting ^w^ and your right, I should've made the green parts blue, but I'm still at a lose for what colour the face should be, do you have any suggestions in case I try a similar design in future?

Hmm, I'm assuming this is meant to represent a Native American (or Canadian possibly)? Red might be a bold choice because of the way any type of Native has been defined as the "red man", you know? It might be a cool statement :)

To be Honest, Red was my First choice, but I was worried of how people would've responded, should've just went for it. X3

I think art is meant to be controversial a lot of the time :)

I had a class that covered an artist who used to draw white men bound, gagged, and bleeding while a Native American sat behind an easel drawing the white guy. He was a well known Native American artist, but a bunch of people hated his work.

Art should invoke passionate responses. If you do this piece, or a similar one, I'd love to see how it looks with a different color scheme. It's a great design!
