Recycling is a personal passion of mine, I do it everywhere I can and I like to think that I know everything about it. Taking lids off bottles so they can be compressed more efficiently during transit, not recycling plastic bags because all they do is jam the sorting machines, taking E-waste and and batteries and polystyrene to specialized recovery centres, I do it all. I've instigated recycling programs at my workplace that save thousands of litres of space in landfill per year, and I've given free advice to just about everyone I've ever met about how to recycle better around the house.

Just doing my bit for this planet that I'm lucky enough to live on. If you want any tips about how to improve your recycling at home or at work, please feel free to ask me. Even if you're doing everything right, still ask me, you might be doing some things wrong and not know it. Common mistakes include trying to recycle plastic bags in household collection bins, or putting your recycling into bags instead of emptying it into the bin loose (it can't be sorted otherwise and those bags go straight to landfill). I can also help with the hard to recycle items like halogen/fluorescent lights, toothbrushes, coffee pods, spray pumps, e-waste, etc.
