A few days ago, Gottfried decided to show up at around 4:30. I was a bit concerned and I stepped out on the deck and he stayed. I took some pictures from about 4 or 5 meters away, but he ignored me. I sat down on the steps, the wind changed direction and he ran off down the cliff to parts unknown. Hopefully he comes back. Also, as a side note about completely unrelated observations... gray foxes have a wide and varied diet...
