Need to actually design more so you can see the variety of shapes and colors they come in, but for now here is a rough example of the Langurhali Elders' gowns and some written ideas that may change.
Other little facts:
- Langurhali do not typically wear clothing or care for fashion at all. Clothing exists to serve a purpose, for the most part. Common t-shirt & jeans or other human clothing would be very uncomfortable over their fur and restrict movement. Elders do not move around too much, and cannot clean themselves as easily, plus Langurhali tails and ears continue to grow as they age, so it's even more to have to put up with.
- Elders may be treated like royalty to younger Langurhali, but outside of special occasions, they just blend in with the rest of them and prefer to be treated as equals. Even at special events, they get bored and wind up sitting down with the young to tell them stories and teach them lessons.
- Most Langurhali are female, as you may have noticed. Thus far only a few male Elders exist, but their ornate wear isn't much different from the gowns. They tend to call them "robes", though. :P
- Design of gowns (or robes) leans toward the medieval with delicate detail that resembles elven wear. It is made to be tough and protective while also heavily decorated, sometimes overly so to the point of tackiness, but there are so many gems to be found in Willora, and they use them in everything. Some may contain the Willow's "magic" as well, such as the ability to heal or give temporary energy, and they often use them for pieces closer to the body, especially for the more frail Elders.
