Quite a successful chase in Northern California on April 27th, 2016. Watching as a cluster of severe thunderstorms that started to fire up south/south east of Sacramento, I was on the chase. I ended up stopping in a small town in Farmington, California as the cell I was aiming for began to die. However, looking due east, this cell became the storm I would chase after, forming over Eugene, California. This is just the beginning stage of this storm, before it began to anvil out and become a nice matured severe thunderstorm. This one storm had constant lightning and thunder, some pretty intense hail, and even caused some flash flooding on some roads due to the amount of rain on the dry soil. Hope you enjoy this picture, many more to come~
And if you're curious, I even have a video of the whole chase day.
