Sooooo, this is my first ever attempt at drawing any kind of dragon before, even though just a headshot. The character is completely unspecified, it was just a random design that I took from other pictures as reference as well as some details of my own. Also this is the first time I've drawn properly in something like 4+ years. Any constructive criticism or and feedback at all is super appreciated. I gave an attempt at some shading with the pencil as that's something I always used to be bad at too.
I'll hopefully start drawing more in the future again too! ^.^

Mal is right though Kai, for a four year break that's not bad. If I can give you some advice I'd say don't be too light with your shading... It's all about how the light is washing over the (in this case) Dragon, try to work out where the darkest areas are and ease the shading of as you move away from that area. It looks like your trying to do it already but you need to get your confidence back. Hope this helps... Hey you and Mal could do some joint art pieces! That'd be cool, just a random thought!
Thanks for the tip Loki! But yeah I did noticed that the shading looked very light after having taken the picture so I'll definitely keep that in mind for the next time I give it a go!
And funny you say that, me and Mal have already thought about the idea of possibly doing some colab pieces in the future XD
