I have to admit that I was a little blown away by the reaction to my photo, The Herd. It got far more faves and comments than usual for my photos. Yet it wasn’t well thought out in advance. All of the instruments were propped on and around the couch after bringing them back in from the day’s photo shoot. It was simply a snapshot taking advantage of that situation.
I thought that the guitars (and you watchers!) deserved better. So here is a more on-purpose set-up.
back row: Luna Vista Bear, SX Lap Steel, Applause Voyager, Ibanez Concord
front row: Ovation Breadwinner, Ibanez SZ320, Ovation Elite, Ovation Pacemaker, Eastwood Sidejack, Ovation Deacon 12-string
By the way, there’s an 11th guitar in the photo. It isn’t terribly difficult to find.

Thanks for your kind comment, and of course, for the fave.
I'd have to say that I prefer playing the acoustics. I've only picked up the electrics fairly recently and pretty much just strum them as I would an acoustic guitar. But I do like all kinds. I'm proudest of the Deacon. I'd love to play the Bear in front of a group of furries one day.

Yeah, I do try to take good care of them. They are all special to me, but none is only a collectors' piece. All of them get played as they are meant to.
Gosh, yes! I've got plenty that I return to play again and again. My favorite music is from the 1970s, so a lot of my library is from around that period of time. One song that I play almost every time I pick up a guitar is The Weight by The Band. Other artists whose songs I play include Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Warren Zevon, and many more who are less well-known.
Do you play any instruments?

That is cool that take such great care of your guitars and play everyone of them.
I like 70's music too! I grew up with my parents listening to it. So it rubbed off on me.
I used to play the recorder, when I was young. But I haven't played an instrument in a looooooooong while.
I will probably have to learn how to read music all over again.
If I could learn to play a instrument, here are a few that I would like to try out.
List: Guitar, Lap Steel, Banjo, Fiddle or Violin, Harmonica, Organ, Piano, or Keyboard.
