So this little sucker has been a very secretive project here on FA, but now that its finally complete I want to show it off. No its not for sale and I will probably never sell this bad boy.

Thanks!
I had the 3D print made by someone from the 405th (Halo people) on Facebook, I simply asked him and he gave me a good price so I had to say yes.
Well for the time it takes to print (roughly 120+ hours) and what I put into it, it would have to be sold for a substantial value for it to make sense. Though I'm sure folks would buy them, the design (print) the rights for that print are not mine. the 405th is a bit strict on selling copies of 3d prints without permission. The gent I got the print from was the original dude who made about 4 of these, but as castings not 3d prints. He used the 3d print to make the molds. Im glad he sold me the 3d print, since it has a nice weight to it. But I might have had a better time working with the casting. Either way this would be worth a pretty penny If I became eligible to market these. The dude was highly impressed by this so who knows x3. It took me about 2 months, but that was me going at my own pace.

Yes, just the prep and paintwork. Honestly the hardest part aside from waiting for it to print or creating the design. Someone else already designed this in the computer and the dude I got it printed from had rights to that file, so he was able to print on for me. That and my pistol impressed him so that helped greatly.
Oh man, it was for sure a pain to build out, but very fun. I would do it again, maybe with some other type of halo weapon. 3D printing is amazing but the foam-IT! product is very very messy... was my least favorite part. If u look at the video you will see the process where I had to drill out a hole thanks to the expanding gasses.
I already own the Plasma Rifle, and an energy sword, their both close to scale as is my carbine, but when the opportunity comes I do wish to make a scattershot or possibly, what im most after currently is a 1-2 foot 3d printed covy corvette.
And sometimes there are some offers for castings for the carbine on the 405th's website keep an eye out the most expensive part is getting it 3D printed like I did, a casting should be better for getting to work quicker and well prep... I spent a lot of money on prep work and the paint job.
