I really love the way all these characters are interacting. Lots of fun little griping back and forth; clearly some aren't too thrilled to be down there. It' also nice to see these characters getting some spotlight time in this issue. It's nice to see the heron out of the cockpit too. I think this is the first time we've seen any part of his body other than his neck and head; I was wondering how you were handling avian anthros and the design looks good to me.

Kardi and I decided that banter was what people liked best, so we've tried to put in a little more this time! :D (Jim the heron takes up a lot of panel space due to being all long and spindly, haha... XD) Just wait til you meet the swallowtail! :D

As long as they have moments where we can see that they really are friends, banter works well. So far it seems to be going pretty good!
