Sooo this is the second picture I thought to draw since trying to get back into my drawing and it's of my mate and partner Mallis, I gave some more refined shading a go with this one. I'm really wanting to push the boundaries of what I can and cannot do to try and have as much improvement as possible in my art. There is also an alternative version which I took with the flash that helps bring out the shading more, however the photo was taken at a slight angle to reduce shine from the lead.

Again constructive criticism is more than welcome, in fact I'd love some ^.^

Although I'd like to mention that  icy-marth gave me a much needed hand on the eye as I just can't draw them without help yet, they just come out so derp for me XD (pssttt, go check out their stuff!)
