Sparkle has come into contact with Witch Hunters, other craft users, and those immune to her powers of illusion. Unwilling to be caught unprepared by someone capable of withstanding her spells, Spark Sought out the additional assistance of combat with the use of swords- Fencing, to be specific. With that goal in mind, Her older sibling Sugar, and her Twin Sibling Spice, used their connections (Government and financial) to assist in adding to Sparkle's defense.

Side note: Spark indeed makes use of a rifle in dire situations. A 'nasty surprise' as she calls it. Regardless of making a fit about how much she hates guns and what not. In reality, it's simply a clever misdirection to throw would be enemies off when she fires a shot into them! )
The locking rune on the top of the Cane's second cylinder is activated by Spark's thumb. When pressed, it releases the devious weaponry concealed inside of the cane. When locked, the cane all becomes solid, and is unable to be pulled apart. (Which is how Spark is able to get away with bashing it against things like it were a baseball bat)
