In the letter, the Royal Mail said it had been experiencing difficulties in delivering mail to Sampson’s home “because of the actions of a cat”. The postman had reported that when he pushed mail through the letterbox, a black and white cat “snatches the mail and puts his fingers at risk of injury”.

The Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator at Cern is offline after a short circuit - caused by a weasel.
The unfortunate creature did not survive the encounter with a high-voltage transformer at the site near Geneva in Switzerland.

What makes the final joke even funnier is that's what one of my players actually said last night right before she whacked a weasel with her War Mattock in my RoleMaster game last night. [I'm the GM and the weasel was a random encounter when the party was in camp.]

I should have been more specific. I was thinking of the cat taken by an eagle.
My dog goes nuts barking when he hears a postal or other delivery driver coming down the driveway. Then when they actually get out, he hides as far to the other end of the porch as his line will let him and pisses himself
