Hax the Hylotl!

Been playing a lot of star bound recently which is a pretty fun little game. A bit of the old mine craft meets space exploration. I rather like the different races in this and the Hylotl were right up my alley.

My partner Scifer introduced me to this game and with his character Avatrix the Avian, I had to make a counter part character to his hyper pirate bird character:

Hax (full name Honourable Hax) is a Hylotl who's escaped to the stars to try and bring balance to the universe. But more often than not she finds herself in trouble and has to get out of it whilst picking up some odd loot.

Most of the Hylotl species are calm and stoic practicing mindfulness and Zen teachings. However they are still formidable fighters after the Florans drove them out of their homes. Hax wants to bring a balance to the world though being mindful but often finds that weapons are a good thing to live by when things go south.

For a long time her name was 'Bizarre Hax' due to her odd interest with things outside of the usual peaceful teachings. While flowers would attract interest, Hax would be looking at the fungi. Hax saw value in life and decay which wasn't always sitting with most people views. Not perturbed by some of the grisly side of life, Hax looked to be spending most of her future in a profession more suitable to a morgue assistant.

But keeping balance meant she'd seek justice and when a prolific pirate raided a colony, Hax defeated and captured the avian known as Avatrix. She gained the name 'Honourable' and she left with the prisoner in order to bring her to justice...and then it all when downhill from there.
