Well... Falco leaves at the end of StarFox 64, there's an official manga about it called 'Farewell, beloved Falco?. He returns at the END of Adventures, stay together through Assault and leaves again (actually, the whole team disolves) at the end. You start Command with just Fox and you have to get the rest of the crew together. But... yes, Falco is by far the memeber that most times has left the team and Fox here recriminates him that. :(((
