Some more fire appliances. The one in the foreground is a Leyland FK9, built in 1939 with a 60ft ladder escape. It entered service on 4th January 1940 and was acquired by the Borough of Stourbridge. Two years later, in 1942, it was transferred to the London Fire Brigade and remained with them for another five years at which point, it returned to Worcester City, and ended its working life at Smethwick Fire Station.
The appliance beside the Leyland is a Mack BB, built in 1930. It came to Great Britain from Kansas, in 2009, after being purchased at an auction.
