*flailing intensifies* I couldn't be happier to finally show you the results of a project I have been working on for so long: I am very proud to reveal the official realistic Dutch Angel Dragon anatomy guide and reference sheet for Telephone!
Ino and I have been working closely together on this to best represent her vision for what the species and her character was meant to be and I hope that you all find it useful for your own characters and artwork too. Feel free to ask if you have any questions! I also highly encourage those interested to learn more about it to check out the website I helped create for the community as well: www.dutchangeldragons.com
This project was actually started over a year ago during one of Ino's streams where I began attempting to draw and understand the kind of anatomy Ino had envisioned for her species. As I have been involved from the very beginning of the species introduction to the public, I have found there to be a lack of understanding or appreciation for Ino's Dutch Angel Dragons for what they truly are and were always meant to be: horse-like dragons.
Many people, including myself were sucked in to this whole thing because of PhoenixWolf's adorable chibi fursuit style and Ino's outstanding performance as the bouncy, squeaky critter we all know and love today... but most people have not had the chance to recognize that there is a whole other side to the development of this character and its world, so my goal is to help bring many of these unique attributes of Ino's creation into the spotlight in my role as an admin for the community. I hope that this can encourage more versatile styles of artwork in the fandom for Dutch Angel Dragons as well since there will now be an accurate representation of what "the real thing" looks like to aid others for drawing inspiration from a more standardized source, as opposed to becoming too stuck using the popular chibi-like styles as some kinds of standard or reference for the species... as those kinds of representations should remain unique to individual artists and their styles, in helping to avoid teetering over the edge to any plagiarism. The community as a whole relies entirely on various artistic mediums in order to flourish, so the respect and admiration of artists and their unique contributions to this species I wish to continue to be celebrated and encouraged as much as possible.
That being said, no, you cannot trace/copy my drawings either ;) but please do use it to assist in your anatomy studies and improved understanding of a horse-inspired dragon character!
[And last but not least, I will also be announcing information shortly for commissioning me to modify this reference sheet into your own unique Dutch Angel Dragon character too!]

Yessss, always an honor to have your approval! <3 Thank you so very much. If anyone deserves to have the ultimate reference sheet, it's probably Telephone
The underside was such a unique kind of challenge! I don't think you see that view too often on ref sheets, and there was certainly no horses photographed from that kind of angle, haha. I enjoyed drawing the little peets :>>

Thank you! I'm so glad you like it! Telephone's supposed to have the blind-eye look with white pupils and iris, so I did give it the ever-so-subtle hint of a darker pupil because that's how real blind eyes look, but it is mostly to represent the size of the pupil vs the iris and eye. It is meant to be rather unnoticeable otherwise.
Oh my gosh I am SO happy you did this, I just want people to see this and go..OH OKAY this is why Dutch Angel Dragons are different from regular dragons with angel wings..I mean DaD's are SO unique as far as anatomy goes and this perfectly expresses that. I really applaud this, and this is a great guide.
