I was pleased to be commissioned to paint a Canadian Lynx, a species I don't get a lot of requests for. And when he turned out to be a gunslinger I had just the pose in mind. The pose is loosely based of another image I'd saved when I was painting art for the Collectible card game, Doomtown.
