They walked the caves round the pothole; rising higher and higher, and the second there was light on the other end of the passages Tori just ran for it. "Mmmm, just feel that sun!" She sighed as she held her arms up to bask in it. She smiled in pure glee, and her clothes dried by the minute.
"Tori, could you untie us?" Sera asked from above "I don't like being left hanging. Especially after-"
"I got you." Matthew said as he came up and pulled out the knife. "Just hang tight, it may be a minute."
"Matthew!" Sera cheered as he started climbing up "You managed to beat that guy?"
"Yeah he did," Tori smiled "Beat him and made him run for his money." Then she went over to help Jake down.
"Well, it was that or die." Matthew said and cut the rope holding Sera to the tree "Honestly I don't remember much." He climbed back down then he cut the rope on Sera's other arms "Are you two okay."
"Thanks to you!" Sera hugged him tight to her chest "You're our hero, Matthew."
"Yeah, hero..." Matthew smiled "No problem."
"No problem?" Tori sounded a bit indignant about then she looked over at the dead orc on the ground. "I think doing a number to one guy, then killing the other is worthy of 'No problem'."
"She's got a point" Matthew said "I may get arrested for that.
"He's not from the university." Jake said "I say his mind, he was just some guy who worked beside that monster."
"Let's just keep it our little secret." Tori said "I think Matt earned that."
"I'm for it." Sera smiled
Matthew looked at them with a small joy in his lips. "You'd guys really would keep quiet for me?"
"The b######s had it coming." Tori smirked "Now quit acting like your a monster like the behemoth nobody."
"It would explain why none of us got his name." Sera added "But yeah, We're here for you."
"Then could we head back to Asa?" Matthew asked "It's getting near dawn and I haven't slept."
Tori then burst to laughter again "Alright, you lost sheep." And she started walking into the woods "Just follow me."
"We're a hero!" Lass sang as Matthew walked beside Sera and Jake "We saved Three people in a night."
Matthew just sighed as he thought to himself By becoming a murderer.
"Don't ruin the moment." Lass said "Just enjoy it for the good it is."
"Matthew?" Jake turned to him "Can I walk you to your room. I'd like to talk."
