Don't worry. There is nothing wrong with your monitor and your eyes are perfectly fine. That lack of magic you are experiencing is the unfortunate byproduct of a disappearing Fennex. This was one of the very last things I worked on before I fell of the face of the earth back in 2011. It was only a rough sketch back then, and completely lacking in magic. I only know there is supposed to be magic because the file name tells me there was supposed to be magic.

Ever since I stopped using Corel Draw and Paint Shop Pro back in 2004 or so I have been a faithful worshiper of the church of Photoshop. But Photoshop has been disappointing me lately, so this is me trying out Krita. Muscle memory is working against me and Krita makes Photoshop feel responsive but so far it's faithfully done everything I've asked it to and it's brush engine makes Photoshop look like MS Paint. Maybe I'll actually be able to ditch Photoshop once I figure out all the kinks.

Just for comparisons sake, does anyone know how Krita matches up against the likes of Paint Tool Sai and Manga Studio?
