Well, being proficient in that particular weapon, I know it's strengths as well as weaknesses.
For example, the weight on the end can be used as a bolo would (ie: constraining a body part) if thrown correctly. However, by merely catching it on something else, the opponent gains an advantage.

oh snap! I just bought a commission from Axer and he sent me a link to the BW version of this pic as an example of what I could get for more money so I was like crap yeah. Amazing job on the hair, that's probably my favorite part! Also love how you handled the background, I wouldn't have had any idea how to handle the abstractness of it.
Coming from one of my most admired artists, that's a real compliment ^^ *beams*
I guess I'm more used to color Seel's art, but, from time to time, it's nice to try something new also... Just to find new challenges and learn something also ^^ I'm happy to realize so many people let me work with their drawings also :3
