well, when someone who is trans says "you're being transphobic" and a person who is not trans says "no i'm not," i'm more likely to believe the transgender person. because they experience and recognize transphobia, whereas a cisgender person is not as likely to understand it.
same can be said for misogyny. if someone who experiences it says "that's misogynist," i'm not going to lecture them about how it isn't.
war criminals referred to people ignoring a certain president's literal war crimes.
aaaand "cops" was because of people replying to protests of police brutality with "but not all cops," which is a derailment of the conversation, because no one's saying every single police person kills unarmed black people... but the system of policing that we have in the states is inherently racist, ableist, etc by its nature. so criticism of "cops" is a criticism of that system.
this image is the result of a really frustrating day.
edit because typos. T:

Going to have to disagree with you there. Have heard from too many trans folks... or the modern 'new-age version' of trans (AKA not actual gender dysphoria or gender identity disorder) who say way too often that ALL cisgender people are transphobic. Period. Not going to believe their bigotry just because they say they are trans. And, not going to do it for anyone else, even sufferers of gender dysphoria. Sure you could say 'more likely'. But, if I am making a comment or saying something, and someone just spurts out that it is 'transphobic', even when it isn't, I don't care who it has come from, they are wrong.

Nope again. Too often I have heard the phrase being used incorrectly for it to be valid to any extent. Again, have heard from folks that ALL men are misogynistic. Again, that is just stupid, sexist, and wrong.

Fair enough.

Eh'. Yes and no. The system isn't racist over there. If you look to the numbers, more black people commit crimes, but less statistically in comparison to whites, are shot. That is just a per head thing. So there are more blacks committing crimes (no, this isn't a racist statement, just a statement of fact, it has more to do with socioeconomics than anything to do with race), and less whites committing crimes, but more whites shot and killed. So, it would, if you look at the stats, be the opposite of racist by its nature. And a blanket criticism of cops is ignoring the truth behind the system. Yes, there are definitely racist cops, they definitely exist, not saying they don't. But yeah, when people say things like that, it just kinda bugs me. Like they are ignoring the reality of a situation to ensure they can keep going with their ideological viewpoint.
racism was due to confederate flag debates.
Not sure how the confederate flag is racism. But, eh', suppose different people see different things.
carnism was due to people at work making jokes about my moral codes. yet again. at no more prompting than "i don't eat that, but thank you."
Uhh, ok. That is really dickish.

ok, no, you're wrong here. i'm gonna lay out exactly why, in a polite way, but i'm tired. if you want a fight, this is not the right time or place. i do not have the mental energy.
i guess what i'm saying is, here's my response. if you want more, you're gonna have to wait.
we all have internalized bigotry to work through. every cisgender person i've ever met is transphobic in some way or another. it is not a judgment of you as a person (and pointing it out is certainly not bigotry); it is how we are conditioned to be. it is how you respond to being told something you do or say is hurtful that ultimately determines if you're a good person or not.
honestly your response isn't giving me a good impression, here. if i, as a trans person, say something is transphobic... it's not just to "one up" someone. it's because something they did or said really hurt me OR could hurt others in my group (that is, trans people). you should take my word for it instead of trying to act like i'm wrong because it ruffled your feathers.
all men benefit from the oppression of women. as a man, i can acknowledge this. it's called privilege, and it's been a real, understood thing in sociology for decades. that doesn't mean every man is actively going "all women are stupid and bitchy and i hate them" actively and openly; it's more subtle than that.
"more black people commit crimes"
lost me there.
i mean... that couldn't be because they're arrested more often for the same crimes as white people?
couldn't be because poverty (which disproportionately affects black people and other poc) correlates to a lack of good opportunities to better oneself and thusly to criminal activity?
couldn't be because black people are more likely to be tried for harsher crimes and be given longer sentences than white people arrested for the same activities?
this is about a situation in the us. ferguson. mike brown. it was a frustrating thing to have to deal with.
as far as who gets shot and killed... yeah, show me the numbers that show more white people are being killed cause... i call bullshit. i want real studies. you cannot expect me to simply believe white people are shot and killed disproportionately by the police without hard proof when i have studied police interaction with civilians on a racial basis forrrrr... going on 5 years now. i'm not new to this.
the confederate flag stands for the values of the us confederacy. the constitution of the confederate states included the protection of slave owners and the continuation of the institution of racial slavery. it is literally flown by white supremacist groups in place of swastika-bearing flags in germany because nazi imagery is banned. it's pretty damn racist.
