For a project last semester (YEAH, I so forgot about this for that long... I just assumed it was up) we had to illustrate a fantasy novel. I chose Elvenbane by Mercedes Lacky and Andre Norton, a surprisingly well thought out fantasy book with the additional plus of shapeshifting dragons.

Anyway, I so can't remember the quote I illustrated this, too, but the dragon, Keman, had been living in this citadel for awhile, and revealed himself to those who didn't know what he was. Something like that. (too lazy to look it up)
