I would almost expect that from Nick, but in situations like this I think he can and will rise to the occasion even if it almost kills him. The pay off when she recovers will be worth it.

My hun got a good chunk of his ankle bit off by a rabbit we were taking care of for some friends. Now he's hesitant to be around anything 'cute and tiny' anymore.

I would've figured just being around you would provoke such hesitation...

This will be interesting considering fast talk means little to absolute butkiss when dealing with crazed minds. Still in the cannon that much of the furry fandom has created surrounding these two Nick and Judy eventually get married and go on to be parents, getting her pregnant involves heavy role play but they get it done. when rabbits get aroused they make a sound that is best described as an "E" and a "V" said at the same time.

it's the only time I've known my pet rabbit to make a sound audible to human ears other than teeth grinding. Though it was a male rabbit.

In the movie, when an animal "goes savage" under the influence of Nighthowler toxin, their eyes change from their "evolved", human-like appearance to their species' "feral" look. (Which, incidentally, is one of those bonus details you pick up on rewatching the film; when Nick pretends to go savage at the film's climax, his eyes don't change.)

I always found the film's treatment of rabbits suspect, mostly because I distinctly remember two rabbits fighting hard enough to splatter blood on our office window.
