Ah, well it's the mask from Friday the 13th part 3, the first time Jason used a hockey mask (prior to that it was a burlap sack with a single eye hole cut in it) I'm going to have to do some sanding, painting, aging and detailing before it looks up to par though.

i only know of what the nerd knows that basicly being the LGN game and some things like how many jason sequals there are something like Jason X now but knowing me there is possibly more now right ?

lol well really the only thing to know about it is that they needed something for the killer to use as a replacement mask since the previous one wasn't received well and since the makeup guys were all hockey players they used one of their masks as a stand in and after decided to run with it.

LOL thanks. And i'm gonna go traditional since I've wanted a decent reproduction since the 80s and this is the first chance to have one at a reasonable price. The only real qualm i have at this point is how weathered I'll make it look. Honestly I like the really weathered look of the masks that came along later but where this was the one from Part 3 and Shelly had his mask in kinda decent shape. Any input?

Well, unless you're wanting an exact replica of Shelly's mask, I see no reason for you to go for a variation. Such as Part 3's mask with, say, Part 7's "battle damage" (or were you talking "weathered" as in scratches instead of actual damage?)

I meant as in discoloration, scratches and dirt. But yeah, I think going with the replica is the way to go. Then as I get the chance I'll get the other mask kits so I can build up a set progressing from 3 to vs Freddy
