Ahhhhhh. I get it now.
I place the same bid on all nine of them, but if one is outbid by someone then I'd only get 8 out of 9 characters unless I place a higher bid on all of them. Like $15 now becomes $20.
Either way it stays $15 until someone places a higher bid, in which case if I want all of the slots I need to place a bid higher than theirs.
