covers © to respective authors.
Some authors known to be here on furaffinity are:
Rukis (author of "Off the beaten path" and "Heretic") ,
Kyell (I read the Volle series from him) and
rathacat (author of "Ratha" series).
Also big thanks to
RGibson who suggested me some of these titles, and many more I will eventually read, and also made a similar work of "collections" of book-covers.
This is the full list of books I've read up now featuring full or partial animal/anthro point-of-view.
I do NOT suggest you all these books.
I am extremely glad if someone would like to chat about some of these titles: both if you read them, or if you intends to do it. ^^
Also I am extremely glad for suggestions of other potential titles to read!

I tried to separate them by species x3 To make that at least a bit more clear...
(avians at top, then going down felines, then canines, then fantasy creatures, with furries at the right side).
Also it depends also on the content you're searching for ^^ Some are books for kids, some other are quite more mature.

Hehe um... if you want try for some simple ones (not huge series). I could suggest "Tailchaser's Song" (second line from the top, on left) because it's a single book, fantasy, good and rich writing style. Defects include flat villains and a bit too much prolonged ending with a useless part, but they're vastly overcome by the good points (including a charming style of writing).
If you want venture on some more mature themes (that I know you enjoy XP) you could go for "Salome's Daughter") (third line from the top, on left). It is a book that has some more heavy defects: poor editor work, with some mistakes (secondary villain characters relationships are "changed" in text), also villains are VERY flat. However it show mating behavior... without much censorship xD It is probably one of the best ones, on that detail. (I especially liked characters talking of mating and boasting about it, in "random talks").

Well with exception of the ones directly tied to the life of a particular character each book are more or less independent. The later books are a little bit better written but I enjoyed them thoroughly. I never noticed flatness but then again it has been a while since I read them
Mostly like species-related villains: with the characters of that particular species being all villains etc...
But I think someone told me that author fixed a bit this thing on some books. In the end, being still a series (I like to try reading them without stop) it's one I was forced to put a bit on hold...

A favourite of mine x3 And also because of this I made plenty of fan-arts and parody fancomics about it ^^
I loved each books, the only exception was probably Tongue of Serpents that I found honestly a bit boring and slow in the pace, dragging a bit the characters (literally!) through the Australian lands until the end...
But it's the only fault I could find on a very fresh series, I can't wait for the author to finish the last book ^^ (I admit I did not frequent much fangroups now to avoid spoilers).
(SPOILER)
Also (as members of Furaffinity) I can't stop to think how incredible the fandom directly affected author decision xD Some years ago Novik witnessed one of the best Temeraire adult fanarts done, and it was uploaded (cropped) in the blog, with a Novik's comment stating that it would be probably a "cut" scene between books. Yet... eventually she did include the IskierkaXTemeraire mating in the book Crucible of Gold. Obviously nothing of graphic, with a bit fun for the whole background of their relationship xD

If you read White Fang, you MUST read "Call of the Wild". I even loved it more.
In a certain way, even if disconnected, one is the opposite of the other with big parallelism.
Eragon series is a huge part of my growing-up teen years Xd I really adored book 1 and book 2 (I seriously skipped some high school lessons to read them ... and avoid some teachers xD).
Sadly book 3 and 4 in my opinion had too much "god-mode" and "deus ex-machina" events still they were a fitting ending, and tiny bits of Saphira point-of-view were additional points.

Yep, I read Call of the Wild as well... I honestly liked White Fang more, but as you say they're almost opposite stories.
Haha, I can remember whole afternoons and nights spent reading book 2, which is my favorite. The 3rd and 4th were okay to me and I can remember I was completely amazed by how the final battle was written...
What a pity the Eragon movie was so disappointing >.>
