I just need advice on how to take care of a duckling until I can get it to a wildlife rehab center.
My cats were trying to catch the little guy so I got it into a cat carrier so they couldn't get it. I just need to know what to do for it until I can get it to rehab. Right now it's in the carrier with a bowl of water. Towel over the carrier so it'll be disturbed as little as possible, but I know I have to feed it something because otherwise the poor little guy will starve.

does it have any feathers? if it is mostly fluff it needs to be kept quite warm, you can try an incandescent bulb as they can sometimes get hot enough (if it opens its mouth and pants it is too warm)
The best food would be flock raiser or non medicated chick feed from a feed store, if you only plan to keep it till tomorrow a meal of warm plain oatmeal and/or scrambled eggs cooked w/out butter or oil will work. And do be sure it has water at all times and it can get its nostrils into the water, they have to moisten their nostrils.
