Welcome to another limited edition adoptable ornament character auction!
Character Background:
Normally Shisa that have been bred for generations in the physical world are stuck with warrior duties, leading a very mundane way of life. Eat, sleep, and fight is all that they know. Yajan is unusual in this way. He began his life as one of these warriors, but earthly authorities were no match compared to his zeal for a deeper meaning. While he was built for physical work and fighting, his passions swiftly led him to the sides of high spiritual figures. On his journey he made the sacrifice to leave the sides of his brothers in battle so that he could act as guardian abroad with these teachers. Some judged his choice as a horrible act of abandonment, but inside he knew that his calling was to protect the knowledge of these higher teachings. During travel, Yajan is well known among monks and spiritual teachers for being a fierce guardian, but once the dust settles, you can be sure he's listening in on what they have to say. Don't mistake his higher calling as a weakness, he is a brutal warrior in battle!

Ladder Options:
•$110 - Meeting this to add an expression/headshot drawing which may be added to the reference sheet. Original will be shipped along with the pendant.
•$195 - Meet this and I will include a Full Body graphite drawing which may be added to the reference sheet. Originals will be shipped along with the pendant.
•$245 - Meet this and receive one of the original drawings used for these Adoptable Ornaments! Available is the male, female, and schedule drawings - your choose which one you want to enjoy. There is only one of each of these original drawings offered through these auctions, so get 'em while you can!
•Auto-buy: $300 - A big thank you for meeting this level, meet this and I will expand upon the action packed story! At this point, Yajan's story has been outlined for the purpose of design, but I'm sure others would love to see the inner development as much as I'd enjoy writing about it. This would be a "chapter" in his story, and helps to flesh out the character even further!

For the Winner:
•Email me at ccarpenter (at) wintersoulstudios (dot) com. I will need to know your Paypal address along with your physical address so that I may ship the pendant and printed ref sheet. Also let me know what you want under "character owned by..." and if you'd like any changes to the reference.
•I will be sending a Paypal invoice, which will need to be paid three days within being sent.
•On the reference sheet I can do minor changes, mainly to the text (their names, description, etc.). For the ref sheet, I may also be able to make minor changes to markings, the ears, etc., just note that depending on the complexity of the change I may charge an additional fee. The physical ornament/pendant may not be changed at this point. If you would like changes to the reference sheet, please let me know in the initial email.
•You are welcome to expand and build upon the story, markings, physical build, add anthro versions, etc. I would prefer if you did not completely re-design her to the point of being unrecognizable. Owning this character does not give permission to take credit for this drawing/reference sheet, the original design shown here in this auction, or the physical ornament. Also, some sort of credit or reference in the modified versions and artwork of this character would be greatly appreciated!
•If this character is traded at any point, I will not be able to make changes to the original ref sheet which comes with this auction.
•Shipping is not included. I will be shipping as soon as possible after the auction, but bear in mind that the reference/certificate will only be printed after your final approval, which means if changes are necessary it may delay the time for shipping. Prices: US - $5, Outside US - $29
Adoptable Ornaments Background:
As I make my pendants and figurines, to me these are more than just casts. Being hand painted, every design is a unique piece of art, and has felt like the pendant is imbued with a bit of the essence of that individual character. As I create these characters, and as I paint the ornament, the story of the character is just as important as the colors and markings, and is consciously kept in mind throughout the painting process. To push this idea further, I've decided to introduce these limited character auctions. On top of the Shisa already being limited edition, these particular paint jobs will never show up again on another Shisa ornament. You'll not only be adopting your very own mini guardian lion-dog, but you'll be able to physically hold your new character! These will be a rare treat, only once per month at most. It is my hope that these rare beasts give people a tangible way to explore personalities and adventures, which they can share with others in the form of ornaments, stories, and art!
