im just getting used to the program and learning it's options so it probably still looks a bit awkward at this point

it's so weird and takes a lot of practice, it's almost like making comic strips? gotta draw the same thing over and over again. at the bottom near the timeline bar there should be some squares with lines through them, and they should show you your last frames so you can keep going. I'd say what helped me is make a bean with eyes and stick legs, all on different layers and see how you can move them!

ohh ye I saw that! it's a great mix with onion skin for redrawing hehe

OH and I forgot to mention, something that might make them look a little more pleasing in what should be an option in the toolbar is so 'loop playback' so you don't get that jump at the end if you place the first frame you made at the end. sorry for the dang paragraphs omg
