Bio: Originally an appliance designer with ties to the Galactic Academy of Sciences and several corporate interests in the Galactic Republic, Donka originally spent most of her time either in her design lab or with her husband Donge. As a species, the vulpine-like Vul were predominantly known in the Republic at large for two things, their aptitude for the physical sciences and their more sensual "appetites." The former made them GalRep's foremost people of science and learning, rivaling the beaver-like Buks in the engineering disciplines, the latter made them highly desirable... as slaves in the seedy underworld populated by the Wuffs and other species. Donka became part of a growing movement within her species, leaving her design laboratory and enlisting with the Star Corps when her husband became one of the latest Vul taken by pirates.

Soldiering turned out to be an adjustment for Donka. For all their machismo the Star Corps do require a certain level of professionalism that tends to clash with Vul attitudes. But despite the culture shock, Donka found she had a knack for it as well as servicing mess equipment, ending up attached to Mess Sergeant Crem's squad of monster eaters.

Recently, Donka's husband Donge resurfaced after spending several months as a prisoner aboard the Hearth Star. With his return brought several puzzles for Donka and others to mull over, the most alluring to the Vul vixen being the story of the alien warrior princess that saved Donge from Pirate Captain Alyssa's cruel hands....

Relationships of note:

Mess Sergeant Crem- Donka maintains a "friendly professional" relationship with her Sergeant, the two having bonded over similar motivations for joining/staying with the Star Corps. Donka's former profession as an appliance designer has lead to her making a few modifications to Crem's equipment. Most of them are even stable.

Gina Stewart- The story of how Donka was motivated to quietly search for Gina on her own time is an interesting one. Vul marriages tend to be more open so long as both partners "share" and Donka has a weakness for the fantasy of "taming" a barbaric alien warrior woman. Donge, knowing this, quietly helped push his wife's buttons and lead to the idea that they should wed this woman into their marriage.

Upon finally meeting Gina, Donka was confronted by the discovery that her fantasized warrior princess was a frightened young woman with a lot of emotional baggage. Yet despite being disappointed, Donka found herself invariably attracted to the worn and traumatized human woman...
