This took forever. I needed it for a commission.
And yeah he doesn't have anything "there" on the reference, because he is just NOT that type of character. Srry!!
Anyways, when he does wear clothes which is pretty much 95% the time, refer to the other ref. This is a better one for his face though. Also I am usually lazy and fill him all in one color, but this is how he is supposed to be. lol. I also fixed his ears, they never looked right and I looked it up and figure out why..hah. I listed some info and inspirations on the left there too.
Clothes, when worn, are: a lab coat, specifically designed for him with cuts around the waist in certain places. Black buttons on coat. It's a "Howie" style lab coat. Black pants, designed for doggie legs, like this:

If he wears his gloves they are black rubber gloves with orange pads on them on the hands like this:
