I happened on a singular artist,  Kristiana_PUFF , embarking on her first YCH (I think), and thought her style would work rather well with my penguin-taur - ergo the scramble to get her up a few nights ago XD I'm quite pleased to say that Ms. Puff surpassed my expectation, and was a very congenial individual, to boot! I do recommend her, and hope for her future success.

Meanwhile, I got a penguin in a darling keyhole sweater. XD And she is adorable!

She also has an idiot for a father - I entirely forgot her name when I posted her initially. Please, let me introduce to you all Wahnuatoka Rewai (Rewai to her friends) [apologies to the Maori language, which I thoroughly butchered making that name XD]

She generally lives in the very far South Pacific, swimming and fishing her way from island to island in a fairly self-sufficient way. She's a bit of a fashionista, in a very naive sense - clothing is a drag hazard in the water, and her body is rather impervious to most environmental hazards she encounters in the ocean, so she doesn't think of clothes in terms of practicality, just accessory...but she really likes to accessorize XD She's a bit uneducated about money, as well, but she's made enough friends to help her do a bit of saving and keep her from being taken advantage of too often in modern society. She "works" for NOAH and a few other, similar, groups by taking water samples and measurements on her routes through various island chains. The pay is terrible, but she doesn't need it, except to buy clothing. What she does get is access to some nice high-tech equipment that can warn her of inclement weather and hazardous man-made conditions - like tanker spills. As much as she worries about anything, she worries about the health of the ocean she literally can't live without, and she's taken part in several activities to remedy things in her own small way - reef clean-ups and making reports about illegal dumping. Mostly she just lives day to day, coming ashore where she likes, eating what she catches, and dodging the occasional feral shark or orca.

And crashing the nearest mall like the shopaholic she kind of is once every month or so XD Rewai has a reputation for generosity, giving whatever she buys to those in need whenever she decides to move on, though the act doesn't really have the same meaning to her - she certainly can't take everything with her, so why not? It's not like there's meaning in any of it, the money or the stuff. At least, not to her. She does carry a small, vacuum sealed bag, cinched to her tail, beneath her flippers, with a few things that she really likes, but, even those could be lost tomorrow, and she'd simply sigh and move on. Rewai could lose everything, and as long as she had the sea she loves, it wouldn't matter in the least.
