Name: Ann
Species: dogodile
Dogodiles are versatile hunters, often playful in their hunts. They tend to gorge themselves full after a successful hunt, and then spend rest of the day sleeping, letting their full belly catch the rays of the sun.
They love to swim, and are great in that. They have webbing between their toes, which along with their paddle-like, strong tail, aid them to make fast turns in water and therefore catch fish.
Despite having strong legs, they are rather bad runners and would either hunt in water for fish and for bigger prey on the coast. However, in case they need to look for prey on the land, they are sneaky and hide into surrounding vegetations to stalk their next victim. They then pounce the prey and hold onto them with their short but strong claws and paws.
Their paws have soft ridges on the underside, which acts like a sort of gripping mat, grabbing onto slippery fish and running prey, leaving them unharmed.
Unlike dogs or crocodiles, Dogodiles don't rip parts of their prey and swallow them. Instead, they prefer to devour their prey whole and like mentioned earlyer, then enjoy sunbathing and resting on their back, belly catching the soft rays. Their whole bodies are made for eating live prey, their neck being very stretchy but also containing strong muscles. Stomach is much the same: Plush and soft from the inside, but packing up very powerful muscles for digesting all kinds of bones and pieces. Being curious, they have been found eating plastic and other trash people have thrown around.
Despite having strong acids, dogodiles are very loyal and wont hurt friends. Exeptions have been found, but most of the time they have a doglike nature.
