My parents eldest cat, Gizmo, passed today. He was attacked by a loose pitt and had to be put out of his misery on scene by the local PD. I like pitts, only when they are trained well. It's already been stated that this one will be destroyed and charges pressed by the city since it's illegal for a dog to run loose. I don't blame the dog. I blame the owners. I blame them for poor socializing, for lack of training, for failure to secure the dog. It's death, as is any other animals it's killed, is upon the hands of the owners. Animals are a product of their environment, not their breed.
