So I've been developing a arch-rival for Mag as of late, and as I was perusing through the submissions of artists I follow, I saw an adopt auction for a Gobshark by  Furikake, and I thought he would be the perfect fit for the role as the Henchman, to one whom I will refer to as "The Illusive-Lynx" (more on him to follow later).

Riptide is a mercenary by trade. Standing at an imposing 6'3, his high level of strength, athleticism, and penchant for cruelty placed him high in demand in the private contracting world. He now works full time for a wealthy sociopath, who uses both the brute strength of the being and the utter cruelty that Riptide relishes in to ensure all of his plans are executed to perfection.

Riptide's choice of armament are a customized Smith and Wesson 500 Magnum, a weapon which he enjoys brandishing and firing to great effect single handed-ly (which is no mean feat if you've every fired one, believe me!)

And when he wants to make the kill especially personal, he will brandish the cutlass he carries on his back against a foe.

I look forward to start creating some conflict scenarios between Mag, Riptide, and the Illusive Lynx, to which I will likely add one or two more allies, and possibly another villain, we'll see where my muse takes me.
