I'm very excited to present to you my latest fursuit : Ataksak
I've been wanting a suit to enjoy during the holidays for ages, and a second full suit as well since I'm currently using Philomène all the time and she's starting to show her age. Sadly Ataksak could not be finished in time for Christmas this year as I was still lacking the white fox fur (very long pile type of faux fur) for her legs, arms, neck, tail. However she'll be there and ready for next year. :)
A lot of new things for me in this suit. First hoofer (so first hooves both for the hands and feet), first "no truffle" nose, first hair poof, first "elaborate" markings, first antlers, first "all fur" ears (I've always had felt or vinyl on the inside before)... I think I managed all those firsts pretty ok. :)
Ataksak is my 7th suit and 2nd full suit. I've been making a lot more partials since they require that much less space and materials/funds and I'm lacking both.
Ataksak is named after the Inuit spirit of light that brings joy and happiness to people, because that's what I like doing with my fursuits : bring smiles and light into people's lives.
I'm not really looking for critiques because I honestly doubt I'll change anything at that point, however if there's something you really want to complain about, feel free to do so, I'm sure it won't be lost on everybody and I'll probably keep it in mind for some other suit, if I ever do anymore. (Yeah, I've re-calculated my budget and found myself with no more extra cash, therefore after Ataksak I won't be able to do anything else that requires me buying more materials.)
In the mean time, you can enjoy the complete photoshoot I did this morning here : http://www.louvegarou.herbeart.com/ataksak.jpg

No, actually, they'll dry fine I'm pretty sure before I glue the rubber sole. I'm more concerned about the mat I'm using as an "under sole" if I may say, that was squished under my weight and won't take back it's shape... I didn't expect that since it never happened with Philo's feet which were built with a similar material.
I think the keyword here is "similar" rather than "the exact same"... :(
Oh well. Once the rubber sole is in place it won't matter much. It just makes my hooves a bit more flat than I intended, but no biggie.
