Tonight in silver's kitchen i bring you another tasty meal
~ Bourbon Chicken ~
What you need
2 lbs of boneless chicken breasts
Garlic cloves
Green onion
Ginger
Red pepper flakes
Apple juice
Brown sugar
Ketchup
Cider vinegar
Water
And soy sauce
Prep
Mix dry ingredients together & same for wet ingredients into a bowl
For the dry
Combine:
A garlic clove, crushed & chopped. I used 3
1/4 teaspoon ginger
3/4 pepper flakes
1/3 cup brown sugar
Chop up 4 or 6 of onion leaves
Mix that up
Then for the wet
Combine:
1/4 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
2 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 cup water
& 1/3 cup soy sauce.
Have that mixed
Cut your chicken into pieces & cook till light golden brown
Remove the chicken & add in both the wet & dry ingredients, heating over medium heat untill
Well mixed & dissolved.
Add the chicken back in & bring to a boil.
Reduce heat & simmer for 20 minutes
Serve over hot rice
