alrighty so this is for my own mom, cuz she's the best <3

my mother has always been very supportive of my artistic ability,
encouraging me, praising me and giving me helpful critiques when I ask.
I wouldn't be the artist I am today without her, but more importantly I wouldn't be the person I am today without her.

Her love, support, encouragement, and faith has seen me through a lot.
I love my mother, and thank God for her.
I was very much a daddy's girl growing up, always his little princess.
but I got to thinking as I've grown and gotten older - I was her little princess too.
She would dress me is adorable dresses (the one in this image was inspired by one I did wear), and all.

(and yeah my mom has and still does sometimes, put purple into her hair. I had to get it from somewhere right?)

Happy Mother's Day to all your mommas out there,
regardless of what sort of mother you are (biological, adoptive, foster, etc)
you're molding a life, and thank you for your sacrifices (and any mom knows that's a lot more than you're given credit for)
